In 2017, my body of work was honored when I received The Hamilton School Life Achievement Award. The award is given annually to honor individuals with dyslexia. Past recipients include former Governor of Connecticut, Dannel P. Malloy; Dr. Matthew Schneps, astrophysicist at Smithsonian and Harvard; Pulitzer prize winning poet, Philip Schultz; and Oscar winner and Independent Filmmaker, Peggy Stern. As part of the day long celebration I met with students and talked to parents.
